Combining a core staff of law enforcement and intelligence professionals with affiliated law enforcement, fire, medical and other critical first responders the LA TEW represents an ongoing effort to protect the region against terrorist threats, and provide for effective response in the event of a terrorist incident. The LA TEW has pioneered a joint approach for the co-production of intelligence in a distributed, collaborative manner and as such may serve as a valuable model for other cities, counties, states, and countries.
